JULIETTE LOW WORLD FRIENDSHIP FUND

The Juliette Low World Friendship Fund helps extend Girl Scouting and Girl Guiding to many parts of the world.  The fund supports fun, educational programs that foster international friendships among Girl Scouts from 140 nations.  Donations support service projects, training and international opportunity events, as well as exchange visiting programs.  The Juliette Low World Friendship Fund was started in 1927, the year Juliette Low died, to honor her dream of spreading Girl Scouting around the world.

How Do We Give?

Girls and adults make contributions to the fund voluntarily. Donations to the fund entitle your troop to receive a special commemorative ribbon that you may attach to flag staffs or keep with other troop memorabilia.

Mail your contributions to the Girl Scouts of Western Ohio Administrative Center, 4930 Cornell Road, Cincinnati, OH 45242.

When Do We Give?

Even though donations for the fund may be sent at any time, popular times include World Thinking Day (February 22), Juliette Low’s Birthday (October 31) and during Girl Scout Week (week of March 12).

For more information about the fund, or for ways to spice up fund activities check out the GSUSA web site: www.girlscouts.org
