chosen to be listed in our resources and on our website and are familiar with our program
goals, as well as Safety-Wise requirements.
Inclusion
in the Volunteer Resource Disc is
not an endorsement of these agencies. Troop leaders should
research the event/activity prior to registering for an event/activity to ensure
that the event meets the needs and interests of their girls and all
safety regulations are being met.

ECO-EXPLORER TRY-IT

April is a great month to learn
about ecology. We will explore the gardens looking for
both living and non-living things that make up the natural
environment. We'll learn about the four elements of any
good habitat and create a habitat for an animal. Finally
we will talk about food webs, and create a chain of our own. |

PLANTS TRY-IT

What better place to learn about
plants than Toledo Botanical Garden! May is a beautiful time of
year to visit the garden, with colorful spring blossoms
everywhere. We will explore the gardens looking at the many
different types of leaves. We'll even collect a few and
use them to make some beautiful leaf rubbings. Then we will
learn more about seeds and simple plants by setting up some
experiments for you to complete at home. |
